New sponsors announced
Waitrose and ASICS are the latest sponsors to come on board - Waitrose, which is part of the John Lewis Partnership. As with all our sponsors, it is important that they receive your support. ASICS replaces Saucony, who unfortunately have decided not to support the events this year. ASICS will be providing a "goody" bag to all race finishers.
Please take a moment to check out their websites by following the links on the right, and where possible, visit sponsors' stores.

In the footsteps of kings
When the last light fades on a winter’s night and the pheasant shooters pack up and go home, there should be ghosts on a Wiltshire hill - if ghosts be. In this bleak spot, beech trees are rooted in ancient blocks of stone choked with bramble and old man’s beard, while here and there lie the pediments of mighty pillars...
This was Clarendon, the great but vanished palace where England’s kings and queens decided affairs of state and took their pleasures. Here, royalty went a-courting and knights jousted at the behest of their masters. Music played in the Great Hall.
It is all now quiet in the Clarendon grounds except for ghosts and spirits of those kings and queens...
On Sunday October 3rd 2010, Clarendon Park will again come to life as merry hordes of runners pass by while taking part in the 13th Clarendon full, half or relay marathon events.
The Clarendon Way runs from Salisbury and Winchester, passing through the small village of Broughton. This course affords a challenging and popular event - with over 1300 runners taking part in 2009. The multi-terrain course is well-marshalled throughout and there are plenty of facilities for runners at the start and finish location.
Miss thee not!
2009 event another great success

Also appreciated was the generous contribution made from Fyffes Bananas of Basingstoke by supplying a large a large number of bananas which helped to feed the many runners at the various drink stations and at the finish.
