Charity

All the events are run in aid of charities and other worthwhile causes. They provide a platform for people to raise money for charities of their own choice (or for ones suggested by the Race Director) or for the many organisations that help with the logistics of organising such an event.

From the proceeds, donations are given to the Rotary Club of Winchester, who help with the marshalling and registration; The Fire Services National Benevolent Fund (the Wiltshire Fire Service helps with the finish venue and also the marking of the course); St Johns Ambulance and/or the Red Cross.
